Prithviraj Sukumaran

Prithviraj Sukumaran is a well-known Indian actor, director, and producer who primarily works in the Malayalam film industry. He has also worked in other Indian film industries like Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. Prithviraj started his acting career in 2002 with the Malayalam film 'Nandanam' and since then, he has appeared in more than 100 films in various languages. He is known for his versatile acting skills and has won numerous awards for his performances.

Early Life and Education

Prithviraj Sukumaran was born on October 16, 1982, in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. His father, Sukumaran, was also an actor in the Malayalam film industry. Prithviraj completed his schooling from Shrine Vailankanni Senior Secondary School in Chennai and later pursued a degree in Information Technology from the University of Tasmania, Australia. However, he dropped out of college to pursue a career in acting.

Acting Career

Prithviraj made his acting debut with the Malayalam film 'Nandanam' in 2002. The film was a critical and commercial success, and Prithviraj's performance was praised by the audience and critics. He then went on to star in several successful Malayalam films like 'Swapnakoodu', 'Ananthabhadram', 'Vaasthavam', 'Indian Rupee', and 'Ennu Ninte Moideen', among others. His performances in these films earned him several awards and nominations, including the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor.

Apart from Malayalam films, Prithviraj has also worked in other Indian film industries like Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. He made his Tamil debut with the film 'Kana Kandaen' in 2005 and his Telugu debut with 'Police Police' in 2010. He also acted in the Hindi films 'Aurangzeb' and 'Naam Shabana'.
